Daily Reflection

10th Monday in Ordinary Time

God, care for me.

From today’s Scripture: “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven.”—Mt 5:3

Throughout the whole Bible, we see that God cares for his people. He hears their cries or our cries and answers them. All kinds of prophets come, but then he sends his own Son, Jesus. He is born into the world to redeem us and set us free from sin.

To be poor in spirit tells us, if you fall down, no matter how many times, with the Lord’s help you can pick yourself up again. Jesus is the light, the truth, and the word of life. If we believe in him, nothing will harm us. We have got to have faith and believe in him!

Let us pray: Lord, help me today to believe, to have faith in you, to see your care for me.
