So much is at stake!

From today’s Scripture: “By the truth of Christ in me, this boast of mine shall not be silenced.” —2 Cor 11:10.
Many of us may have been reprimanded in the past for boasting. Is boasting about Christ and the truth of the Gospel the same? Here, the apostle Paul states emphatically—not only is he boasting, he proclaims that he will not be silenced as he continues traveling to different cities and countries, sharing the Good News.
Are we as confident in sharing our faith today? Will it turn people off? Will we lose friends? Will we be laughed at? So much is at stake. In some parts of the world even today, sharing our Christian faith means imprisonment, possibly even death. And yet we are called to evangelize in our daily encounters. Like Paul, may we embrace sharing the gospel with fervor and zeal. May we never tire of boasting in Christ.
Let us pray: Holy Spirit, fill us with the grace we need to share the Good News with others as we seek to follow Christ.
