Daily Reflection

13th Friday in Ordinary Time

Mercy freely given

From today’s Scripture: “Those who are well do not need a physician, but the sick do.”—Mt 9:12

During our lows it is easy to struggle with our faith. When it feels like all of the world is against us, it’s hard to see that God is beside us to lift us up. Though it is hard to see him during times of turmoil, that is when we need him the most. Through his word and his will, should we follow it, we will heal.

Let us pray: Heavenly Father, grant me serenity and help me see through the hardships that may cloud my faith. Let me feel your presence when I feel most alone.
