Peace I give you.

From today’s Scripture: “And let the peace of Christ rule your hearts.” —Col 3:15a
This passage speaks of something very special that we can take for granted in our daily lives: peace. It refers to a special peace, the one that comes from Christ. When we are overwhelmed by any reason, whether it is a big problem, or we are drowning in a glass of water, how we long for peace!
Among all that we normally ask for in prayer, how many times do we ask for the peace of Christ? Whether it is our inner peace or peace in our family, with our co-workers, or peace in Ukraine or other countries at war, do we ask and work hard enough for it?
Let us pray: Lord, let your Spirit enlighten me to appreciate all the splendor of your peace. Give me the peace that many times I lack.
