Little blessings

From today’s Scripture: How shall I make a return to the Lord for all the good he has done for me?—Psalm 116:12
I’ve been known to sign “have a blessed day” in emails, or voice it at work or with family. It reminds me to think about the good in my life, and the beautiful things that I want those I love to experience too!
I see these little blessings in my children, from them saying their first words, voicing their own prayers at dinner or hugging a lot on tough days. I see this when co-workers collaborate on projects or pray for each other and our community at morning devotion.
Blessings don’t need to be big. It’s the little things in a day that make me smile. They remind me that God gave me an amazing life, one that I should cherish every day.
Let us pray: Lord, you are so good and kind to me! Help us to seek out daily blessings and to share this joy with others.
