15th Monday in Ordinary Time

Easing our burdens

From today’s Scripture:  “Then would the waters have overwhelmed us; the torrent would have swept over you.”—Psalm 124:4

Have you ever had a day when you looked up toward heaven, gave a big sigh and said,”Why, God?” On days like these, it’s good to remind ourselves that we have a loving God who longs for our conversations, who wants to ease our burdens and shower us with his love.

At the end of the day, God’s loving grace always brings me through. I remind myself to always go to him in prayer. I’ll never feel overwhelmed.

Let us pray: Lord, thank you for rescuing us from our burdens! Please fill me with your grace, so that I can show love to others who may be struggling today.
