Daily Reflection

15th Saturday in Ordinary Time

Call out for mercy.

From today’s Scripture:  Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his mercy endures forever.Psalm 136:1

Our world has been through something this past year I never thought I would see in my lifetime. We’ve also had an increase in violence, natural disasters and unfortunate tragedies that leave us crying for mercy. My heart hurts for all those left suffering and questioning their faith. I’ve been there too, where you feel so much hurt, you forget to call out for mercy from our loving Father, who makes us whole again.

God is so good! Yes, tragedy and devastation will always be around as the devil tries to take hold of our lives, but let’s rise up together and seek God’s mercy that will heal us from all that tries to destroy us.

Let us pray: Lord, strengthen my faith with your mercy. Help me to always seek you during all times in my life. Please have mercy for all those most in need.
