The gift of children
From today’s Scripture: “I will praise the name of God in song, and I will glorify him with thanksgiving.”—Psalm 69:31
Recently, at Sunday Mass, I was able to witness something so beautiful that helped me remember how important it is to practice my faith, especially in front of my young children. It was during the Our Father. I felt the power of Jesus as we prayed together, unified in our faith. My son was distracted, playing with his car, but instantly, when my husband and I held hands to pray, he grabbed each of our hands and squeezed them tight.
Let us pray: Lord, help us to remember to praise you always, together as your holy family, so that we may be a model of faith for others.
