15th Tuesday in Ordinary Time

Listen to love.

From today’s Scripture: “Jesus began to reproach the towns where most of his mighty deeds had been done, since they had not repented.”—Mt 11:20

Jesus showed us what it means to be children of God. God, like any loving father, wants the best for all his children. In sinning, we turn from God and his love. Jesus wants us to turn away from our sinful ways so that we can live in the happiness that God has in store for us. God simply asks us to let go of our old ways and let him order our lives. Sounds simple, right? Easier said than done. But with God’s grace all things are possible.

Let us pray: Lord, at times I still go through life as if I am in charge of my own life. Help me to let you in, to surrender to you completely.
