Biblical freedom

From today’s Scripture: “The LORD himself will fight for you; you have only to keep still.”—Exodus 14:14

Right before God parted the Red Sea, the Israelites were being chased by Pharaoh’s army. They were trapped. They were so terrified that they regretted leaving their life of slavery at all. If only they could have known that just moments later they would cross to safety as the Red Sea parted before them, experiencing one of God’s most epic miracles!

We are all Israel in this story, and just as in the scriptures, God tells us that we are no longer slaves! By dying on the cross and rising from the dead, Jesus paid the price to free us from every type of bondage that tries to enslave us.

Let Us Pray: Thank you, Lord, for setting me free! Help me to boldly and confidently move forward in freedom!
