Corner on hope

From today’s Scripture: “…[I]t is Christ in you, the hope for glory.” Col 1:27
Sometimes I find myself scrolling through social media and comparing myself to those who are going through a difficult time, but still seem to keep it all together. Do they have a corner on hope that the rest of us don’t?
Salvation was thought to be only for the Jewish people; not the Gentiles. But we now know that Jesus, our true source of hope, came for everyone. Furthermore, Christ is not just a person outside of ourselves, He is found deep within our soul through the gift of the Holy Spirit poured out upon us. What a grace!
Let us pray: Dear Jesus, thank you for being our true source of hope. Help us to turn to you during those moments where all hope seems lost.
