Under construction

From today’s Scripture: “Indeed, like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand….”—Jer 18:6
You may have seen a t-shirt or bumper sticker proclaiming, “God isn’t done with me yet!” Truly we are all works in progress, “under construction.” So often all we see is a snapshot of a person, meeting them at some certain point in his/her life. But at every point the potter is at work: What we were is not what we are—or will be.
Let us pray: Dear God, keep my heart open and flexible that you might mold me as you wish.
