God’s helpers

From today’s Scripture: “For the glory of your name, O Lord, deliver us.” —Ps 79:9
The refrain from today’s psalm expresses a plea for God’s help. Sometimes that aid comes through helpers like grandparents, parents, or friends. In our fractured world, many a grandparent is exactly the glue that holds life together for the family.
Let us pray: Lord, thank you for the people that you have put into my life to help me.
