Cured!
From today’s Scripture: “He laid his hands on each of them and cured them.”—Lk 4:40
Use your imagination and pray with this passage. Can you imagine what it must have been like to be one of those healed by Jesus? It might be a physical, mental or spiritual affliction. Jesus approaches you and lays his hands upon you. His touch sends a burning sensation through you and you realize a healing has occurred.
What an awesome moment! Note how Jesus deals with each person in a crowd. His touch is personal and full of love and compassion. Rest in that touch and enjoy the presence of Jesus your Lord and Savior.
Let us pray: Jesus, healer of all those in need, touch me today and bring me your healing peace and joy. I believe, and seek your constant healing.
