How do we live?
From today’s Scripture: “Owe nothing to anyone, except to love one another;…”—Rom 13:8
Think of the debts we carry! Home mortgages, car payments, credit card debt. St. Paul isn’t telling us to abandon these (we would be sitting on the street, broke!). But look deeper. How do we live, here and now, beyond our day-to-day worries? How do we love first, worry about the rest last?
Let us pray: O, God, help me to see the big picture today. Help me to carry out all of my responsibilities, but let me not forget you as I do.
