Jesus loves you.
From today’s Scripture: “May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, … encourage your hearts and strengthen them in every good deed and word.”—2 Thess 2:16-17
Sometimes we feel alone, as though nobody understands us or cares about us. We wonder if we can go on. It is at those times we need to remember that these are feelings, not reality. In reality, we are understood; we are cared about; and we are loved beyond limits.
Our Father, and his son, Jesus, know us intimately and love us deeply. As Pope Francis describes it, God “loves us infinitely.”
Let us pray: Father, please help me take my focus off what I lack and focus on your ABUNDANT love for me and your other children, my brothers and sisters.
