Celebrate life!
From today’s Scripture: “Our Savior Jesus Christ has destroyed death and brought life to light through the Gospel.” (Alleluia verse)
What an amazing thing is new life! Any new parent, if they can get past the sleepless nights, will speak of awe at the presence of God so close to their child’s birth. Who could imagine that you or I could come up with a living baby, grown from the smallest size through many months to the day of birth.
That moment of creation is to be celebrated. The more we can respect that life within, the more effectively we can stop the plague of abortion that has swept our land. Human life is to be revered, even within the mother’s womb.
Let us pray: Today I pray for all of the little ones who are alive, but yet to be born. Please take care of them, God,. Empower me to reach out and offer some type of help or affirmation to any pregnant woman I meet today.
