Daily Reflection

7th Monday of Easter

Hold me, Jesus.

From today’s Scripture: “‘In the world you will have trouble, but take courage, I have conquered the world.’”—Jn 16:33

In our lives we have the blessed assurance that Jesus’ word gives life, even in the darkest moments. I try to find the light of Jesus in my or the world’s darkest moments. In the time of war, where is Jesus? He is there besides us.

In dark moments of my life Jesus holds me. The key for me is to have faith in the presence of the Lord. To turn to   him and not run from  him the Resurrection gives us life. This act of extreme love has conquered the world.

Let us pray: Loving Lord, give me the faith to surrender to you each and every day so that I may truly live.
