We are loved.

From today’s Scripture: [Jesus said,] ”’That the love with which you loved me may be in them and I in them.’”—Jn 17:26
The word love can be best understood in the description of Jesus. Jesus died for us that we may be free to live the best and fullest in this life. When I know that I am loved I am free to forgive others. I know that I am loved when Jesus forgives me in his merciful love so that I can be a great parent, or spouse, or disciple. We are all called to know of the love of Jesus in our hearts.
Let us pray: Loving Lord, let me know of your love and live it in all that I met today.
