Act impelled!
From today’s Scripture: “The love of Christ impels us…”—2 Cor 5:14
Periodically we may find ourselves reflecting on what motivates us. We may find it in affirmation, realization of goals, getting a promotion, among others. But as Christians seeking to integrate our faith into every aspect of our lives, it should be the love of Christ that motivates us to act.
The greatest demonstration of the love of Christ in action is found in serving others. In many cases, we may not receive recognition for these acts of service. But we are called to serve to the best of our ability anyway. Because the love of Christ impels us.
Let us pray: Lord, may we be inspired to serve others more faithfully through the incredible gift of your love for us.
