Rescue me!
From today’s Scripture: “I will cut a road through all my mountains, and make my highways level.”—Is 49:11
The love of God is so powerful and so vast that at times it can be overwhelming. God loves us without reservations, conditions, or limits. God is so concerned for our well being that God’s only son died for us. There is no place where God will not go to rescue us.
Therefore the question is not whether God loves us, the question for today is whether we will allow God in our hearts? Can we allow such love to overtake our lives? Or should we continue to resist?
Let us pray: Most merciful Lord, you know my sufferings and the pain that I carry. I ask that your love can penetrate deeply inside of me so that you can shatter the walls that I have built in my heart.
