Daily Reflection

Holy Family

Thank you!

From today’s Scripture: “And let the peace of Christ control your hearts, the peace into which you were also called in one body. And be thankful.”—Col 3:15

At times I find it easy to become overwhelmed with worries. I’m concerned about the future, or fretting about the past, rather than remaining firmly planted in the present. These worries can also affect our relationships and communities, as we experience the tragedies and strife that sometimes plagues our world.

Taking a moment to reflect on Scripture or identifying things that I am grateful for has been helpful in these moments of worry. And here are two together—a Scripture passage encouraging us to be grateful! Today, spend time meditating on this passage, allowing the peace of Christ to reign in your heart, as you seek to identify things you are grateful for.

Let us pray: Lord, today give me the grace to allow your peace to reign supreme in my heart. Help me to move beyond the challenges and worries I may face today and in the days to come. Help me to be thankful.
