Immaculate Heart Mary

Daily Reflection

Immaculate Heart Mary

Our faith grows.

From today’s Scripture: “…and his mother kept all these things in her heart.”—Lk 2:51

Today as we celebrate the Immaculate Heart of Mary, we ponder some of the outcomes of Mary’s yes to the angel at the Annunciation. Mary must have wondered what did this all mean? Scripture says that she kept all these words in her heart. These words would make sense later, but now her faith keeps all these words close to her.

We do not know our future. Our faith grows with us remembering our experiences of Jesus. We, too, keep our experience close to our hearts, so that we may deal with the unknown future experiences of our lives.

Let us pray: Jesus, guide me along my road of life. May my faith grow each day as I experience more of your calling.
