Just have faith
From today’s Scripture: “Do not be afraid; just have faith.”—Mk 5:36
When I am troubled, the first person I turn to is my sister. Whatever the situation is, no matter how extravagant or miniscule, she always seems to know what to say. Recently, she shared with me that she finds it easier to navigate hardship when she puts everything in God’s hands and has faith in his plans for her. This is something I struggle with because I’m the kind of person that fears the unknown or not having a plan, but I know in my heart that God has great things in store for me. As scary as things may seem at times, I trust in God’s plan for me.
Let us pray: Heavenly Father, give me the strength to surrender my fear to you and the courage to trust in your will as my faith in you grows.
