Happy birthday!
From today’s Scripture: “‘She will bear a son and you are to name him Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.’”—Mt 1:21
A birthday that we sometimes do not remember is that of our Blessed Mother. On this day we remember Mary, conceived without sin; Mary the young girl of faith who said yes to God’s call to be the mother of Jesus. Her yes in faith changed the course of the world.
Can I say yes to Jesus’ calling that I receive each and every day? Can I walk in faith? Our Blessed Mother is a great example for all of us.
Let us pray: O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us! Happy birthday, Blessed Mother.
