The mercy of God
From today’s Scripture: “‘Father, forgive them, they know not what they do.’”—Lk 23:34
Jesus came that humanity might know the mercy of God and experience reconciliation. We see this mercy as Jesus expresses it for the very people who are trying to frustrate his purpose. He thereby underscores the purpose of his mission.
Let us pray: Lord, give me the insight to see what my actions do to my relationship with others, and especially, with you.
