Seventh Saturday of Easter

Daily Reflection

Seventh Saturday of Easter

God has a plan for us.

From today’s Scripture: “[Paul] received all who came to him, and with complete assurance and without hindrance he proclaimed the Kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ.”—Acts 28:31

Often people who are up in age who may be suffering from illnesses will ask me, “Why am I still alive? I want to go home to heaven to be with my family.” Why is a good question.

In the Acts of the Apostles, Paul talks about the Kingdom of God, even as an old man. We do not know why we live. God has plans for us even if we feel all washed up. We can lead others to Jesus by living the best we can. I cannot say why Jesus allows us to live or die. We are in God’s plan. We continue in faith!

Let us pray: Loving Lord, please help me with your grace to be open to your plan that you have for me.
