‘Feed my lambs.’

From today’s Scripture: Jesus said to Simon Peter…’feed my lambs.’”—Jn 21:15

Love calls for a response. Peter says that he loves our Lord Jesus; Jesus response is, feed my lambs. Pope Francis made a great statement to the priests of the world that they need to smell like the sheep. He encourages the priest be a part of people’s lives. That’s not to be above others, but rather to be with others in their joys as well as their struggles. Love in actions. If we can remember that we are all brothers and sisters, the world will be transformed.

Let us pray: Lord, I pray for the grace to feed others with my love and joy.
