Our primary call
From today’s Scripture: “Then Jesus said to them, ‘I ask you, is it lawful to do good on the sabbath rather than to do evil, to save life rather than to destroy it?’”—Lk 6:9
As disciples of Jesus, we are called to challenge traditions to share the good news of the Gospel with the world. Just like Jesus, our society and traditions might limit us as a disciple of Christ. We must remember that our call as disciple of Christ supersedes our traditions and culture.
Let us pray: Lord Jesus, remind me to keep your Gospel in my thoughts and actions even when our traditions and culture tells me not to.
