You are not alone.

From today’s Scripture:“‘Do not worry about how you are to speak or what you are to say… For it will not be you who speak but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.’”—Mt 10:19-20
In this Gospel passage, Jesus is preparing the disciples to be sent out to evangelize the nations. He is also preparing them for what is to come. It will not be an easy experience—they will face a lot of danger and persecution. But one thing they can rely on is the presence of the Holy Spirit, which will give them the right words to say in difficult situations. They don’t have to face their greatest challenges alone.
We are blessed with the same gift when we take the risk of sharing our faith today. The question is: Are we willing to risk it all, as the disciples did, for the sake of the kingdom?
Let us pray: Lord, give me the grace to trust you radically. Let your Holy Spirit fill me as I take the risk of sharing my faith with others.
