Good heaven!
From today’s Scripture: “‘Because knowledge of the mysteries of the Kingdom of heaven has been granted to you….’” Mt 13:11
People wonder if heaven exists. Even those who believe will wonder what heaven will be like. Through Scripture, however, we already have knowledge of what the Kingdom of heaven is like. But there are those who have not heard the Good News of the Kingdom as well.
As Christian believers, it is our responsibility to share the Good News with those who have not truly heard it and come to believe. Yes, in many ways the kingdom of heaven is truly a mystery. But through faith rooted in sacred Scripture, it can become known and made known.
Let us pray: Heavenly Father, we thank you for gifting us with the Good News found in sacred Scripture. Give us wisdom as we seek to unlock the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven for ourselves and in our ministry to others.
